Field Studies studio and gallery is a supportive environment for local and independent artists, musicians, authors and activists.
Affordable spaces are available to hire for creators involved in various art forms.
Artists: the wall space is approximately 3.5 metres wide, with a high ceiling, close to shopfront window ($120 per month)
Makers: cabinet/shelving ($120 per month)
Bands/authors: a table to display books, vinyl, CDs, and other merchandise ($50 per month)
There may also be the opportunity to run small workshops, signings, readings or talks.
To assist in choosing your month, here’s a summary of events that currently occur in Maldon (no doubt there are more that I don’t know about) – November (Maldon Folk Festival), December (all the festive stuff), January (Twilight Festival), February (Antique fair), March (town garage sale), April (Easter Fair), June/July (Winter Festival), August (Goldfields Gothic Festival of Dark Ideas).
